H1B status from two companies

I have an H1B from my present employer (A) who has applied my green card and i have got the labor and I-140 cleared . Company (A) was bit in a trouble in 2003 as we were still developing the product and i had applied for new H1B and green card from another employer (B) and the labor is still pending from company B. Both Company A & B have been getting my 1year H1B extension since i have completed 6 yrs and labor petition. Though i have never worked for company B and my current suitation Company A has applied for my H1B extension and company B wants to apply. I am now wondering if there is any issue applying extension with company B and mainting the H1B status from them even though i have never worked with them and will it effect any way the H1B extension and green card processed by company A. Please guide me its ok to maintian status with B.
