H1B Stamping(URGENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Hi , I have got my H1b petetion approved and now I am preparing to goto consulate for Stamping. In my I 797 petetion I see that the approval notification has been sent to the CHENNAI Consulate of India.
Can I apply from a different consulate other than CHENNAI in India like DELHI? In that case what should I do?
 
Given that I had mine sent to Toronto, and no issue was raised when I went for the interview in Chennai, Chennai to Delhi should not, in my opinion, be an issue. You can apply for the appointment as normal. That information is not asked in the web appointment process.
However be ready to have a decent explanation if you are asked why you did not go to Chennai.
