H1B stamping of a visa which is valid only for next 2 months

Dear Lawyer/ immigration expert,

I have couple of questions below and need urgent help,

In June'2009 changed my Employer from A to B and I got a new I-797 valid until June 2011.
I have been with Employer B since then.

My Stamped Visa on Passport from Employer A expired in Sep'2010. Now I am going to India in April'2011 and want to get new Visa stamped on my passport(Visa, which is valid till June 2011).

So When I go to US Consulate in April'11, I am asking them for stamping for another 2 months.
Is that too short duration being requested for stamping? Can I get rejected because of 'duration being short' ?

My current Employer B is ready to file H1 extension for validity dates beyond June'11 but It may not get approved before April'11 when I travel to India.

So, Can I go to India in April'11 and get stamping done while my H1 extension is in process ?
If NO, I will have to wait for H1 extension when I come back from India in April'11 but then Employer B may not get my H1 approved before June'11 due to current processing times of H1 visa approvals (Non-Premium category).

Please help me out in making the right decisions on this legal matters.

thanks so much,

File with PP and your extension approval - it granted - will be in your hand before your travel. You can then get stamping according to the extension. Should the extension be denied, you will have time to alter your travel plans.
