H1B Stamping (Mumbai) - I129

Hi ,
Does one need to submit or show the original of I129, education evaluation papers etc to the US consulate in India,Mumbai for H1B stamping ? Or the xerox is fine. Please do guide me.

It is better if you take lawyer certified papers.

Lawer just put his initials saying these are copies and verified by him

you would need original h1 approval notice, and a copy of all relevant documents like experience letter, w2, past few paystub, original offer letter from current employer etc.

note that notarized copy is better than regular copy. you need to have all the originals with you in case they want to verify.

i dont think consulate require you to provide educational evaluation copy or original.
