I am an Indian citizen and hold a valid passport. I have my old L-visa stamped to my passport. Since, I had successfully changed status to H1-B. Recently, I changed my job and the visa transfer was subsequeintly approved. I have the I-737 and I-94 approval notice.
My new job requires me to travel to the UK. I have successfully obtained a 6 month work permit for the UK. I will be doing back and forth b/w New York and London on a monthly basis for the next 6 months.
Since my H1B is not stamped to my passport, can I get it stamped in the London consultate? How do I make an appointment with the London consulate? Are there any requirements/ documentation I will need to present? Is it better for me considering my L1 that is stamped has expired to go to India instead?
Any help in this regard would be appreciated.
