Hi,

My visa stamping was expired on may2006(previous employer) and my new employer approved H1B is until Dec2007, but I have been working with new employer since 18 months, now i wanted to go for visa stamping in canada before i leave to india for vacation.
Note: This is my 3rd visa stamping, first time i got visa in India, second time i sent documents to st louis by mail. I completed my 4 years in USA

My Questions are,

1) is there any problem as my visa stamping expired on may2006?
2) which consulate is better in canada? i am in newjersey
3) how to get canada visiting visa in newyork?

Thanks!

replies IMHO....

1) Not sure.... others will advice
2) I guess all are same. Many go to toronto from NJ but tough 2 get appointment there thru nvars - you have to keep checking
3) Visit visaa called TRV, pretty easy - i have obtained it twice: once mailed in docs n 2nd time went to consulate. It is in NYC - Canadian Consulate NYC

Hi stamping in vancouver

Hi,

I have got the appointment for my H1 stamping in Vancouver in aug' 2006

I am here in USA since 2000 , got the stamping done in India once.my green card is going on and recently I have joined MS as well. I got my canadian PR card last year.

Am planning to go seattle and drive from there. and I have planned for three days.

Now my questions Are....

1. Will it be a problem because I have got my Canadian PR card for US visa stamping ?

2. Since I am studying should I take any proof of that also ?

3. What are the other documents I need to take care of apart from those listed in the appointment conformation letter ?

4. What should be expected in the worse scenario ?

Thanks,
