Hi All,
I am currently in US on H1B, I got my H1 approval (extension) recently and planning to go to Canada/Mexico for stamping and I have an overseas Master’s degree.
My question is -
I did notice that a lot of you who got or are in the process of getting H1B stamped in Canada or Mexico have a US Masters then either did OPT or got H1. Based on a lot of reply on this forum the visa stamping experience was no hazel and also noticed that the visa officer asked about the US Master's.
But what is the situation of people who have overseas Masters and are willing to go to Canada/Mexico for stamping. Are they treated the same?
Anyone with overseas Masters who got visa from either Canada/Mexico; please respond.
