I am planning on going to Canada for H1B stamping. My education was solely from Pakistan but have 4 years and 2 months of US experience. I need sugguestions how to prove my qualifications. Some people suggest getting accrediation report from some agency or organization but i believe our employers do get such reports when they apply for H1B Visa. What good it will do in my case. i am also hearing stories where it took consulate almost 3 months to do background checks. its kind of crazy...
Any ideas... suggests..??

P.S: I will also be completing my Canadian Immigration Landing process. I have an expired H1B with valid I-94. But my H1B was cancelled when i applied for re-validation within US. Can i go to Canada and then come back using I-94 and Cancelled & expired H1B Visa?

orazone,
you can't come back to US with expired visa and valid I-94 if the purpose of visit is for stamping. you have return to home country and do the stamping there.
If you have an AP, you might be able to come back.

regards.

i have'nt taken the appointment yet. In my case its expired but it also carries the stamp 'Cancelled without Prejudice'. If i dont take the appointment and complete landing and take a round turn and try to come back, what they are going to say?

P.S : What is AP ? Advance Parol ? That is not applicable in my case. I never started green card processing.
