H1B Stamping from Chennai. Urgent.. please help..!

ALL,

I got the H1B papers from my U.S company.
In those papers , by mistake he has mentioned
my Batchlor's degree as specialization in computer science.But my specialization is Mechanical engineering.

Does it create any problem when i go for VISA? or Is it ok ?

Please let me know ..

Yes i think it will be a problem if the consulate officer asks for ur degree. talk to an attorney and see if it is ok. but personally i think yes it is a problem.

YES - it will cause trouble .... I mean the labor would've probably been certified for a position that requires a Bachelors degree in Comp Sci and you don't have such a degree.

So its wise to get this amended by your US based employer before trying to get a visa.
 
Chennai folks scrutinize academeic degree certificates for authenticity...
As you know prior in late 90's, consulates bombarded with fake degrees..
