hi
I am holding an Indian passport and currently in the UK on student visa. My student visa gets expired sept 2006. I have applied for H1B and confused if I have to choose the chennai consulate or LOndon..I have heard that applying in origin country is better. Which one is better?

Applying in your origin country is always recommended. But there are people who have been stuck in their country and there are people who have got stamped in Canada and Mexico, whereever you go just be prepared with all documents and answers.

Home country is better

Hi
I know one of my friend who is also a student in Leeds was rejected from London US consulate. The reason they say is they dont have enough history of you in the UK and asked to apply in the home country where we can establish proper history.
Hope this helps

Thanks
Patrick
