I would be pleased to have your comments and advise on my H1B status, as I plan to appear for H1B stamping at Vancover Canada since there is an immediate need to visit INDIA.
Here is my scenario:
I happened to switch my H1B sponsor while being employed as a contractor, the new sponsorer filed for a H1B transfer and its taken almost 10 months with INS. Recently herd from my H1B sponsorer his company status is being scrutinized and may take longer to hear from INS, being aware of my immediate needs he is moving forward on filing a new H1B visa by premium process through a more reputed consulting company while I still continue to contract. I do have all the relevant pay slips for the last 3 years, kindly advise.
How would the visa approval authority handle my case?
Since switching to the new employer, I may or may not even have the latest salary slip processed to take for the visa interview?
Do I show my status as being employed directly by the new h1B sponsorer or show my status as a contractor?
Thanks
AF
