I have an appointment to attend the interview for my H1B stamping( F1 to H1) in Matamoros, Mexico on Dec 13,2005 and I have a question regarding my status.
I applied for my H1B on Feb 1,2003 and got the receipt on Feb3,2003 as my OPT expired on Feb 14,2003 although I got the approval notice on June 20,2003. I stayed in the country till June 20 although I didnt work as I was told that I can stay as my case was pending with INS.
What I am wondering now is will that be any kind of issue when I go for my H1B stamping next week? Am I officially in status waiting for my H1B from Feb to Jun of 2003.
Please advice me on this.
