H1B Stamp experience and Toronto

Canada

Hi Friends:

I live in Canada for more than 3 yrs now and I was a landed immigrant. I have applied for my citizenship but have lost my job in Canada. I have got an offer in US and the company has sent me an H1B.

Following are my questions:

1) Do I get an H1B stamp in Toronto in a counsulate or I can get it at the border when I cross into Buffalo by road..

2) What documents do I need to take with me at the counsulate in Toronto or at the border for the stamp?

3) Do I have to schedule and appointment in advance or I can go anyday. If an appointment is needed do you know how long it takes to get one in Toronto? PH# for the counsulate????

4) Any recent H1B stamp in Toronto?

Thanks in advance for your help in this matter

Since I live in Canada and have an H1B visa to work in USA... How can I have pay stubs...for getting the stamp??? I was working in Canada as a consultant and have all my tax documnets for that..
Is that ok to show at the counsulate???

I can only HAVE PAYSTUBS WEHN I START WORKING FOR A N AMERICAN COMPANY.....

Your comments are greatly appreciated....

Thank you in advance
