Hi All,
My H1B case (normal processing) has a notice date of 6th, May from Vermont. Since then the status did not change untill Oct. I got a email notice about RFE, and then my real nightmare started...
30, Oct: RFE notice sent by CIS (lost in mail)
22, Nov: Lawyer requested CIS to send RFE again
28, Nov: RFE resent by CIS (maybe lost in mail again!!!!!)
12, Dec: Lawyer called CIS. CIS said the earliest time they could sent the RFE again would be next week!!
I called the CIS Service Center, and one Rep told me that it usually takes one week for sending FRE. But I have waited for one and half month, and simply got nothing. The lawyer claimed that she could do nothing before receiving the RFE notice. (I remember I saw a post mentioned that lawyers can call CIS and find out the detail of RFE)
I am very disappointed of this situation. My OPT will be expired at Feb. I don't know how loooong time I need to wait for my RFE notice. Is there anything I can do to avoid losing it again? Or how could I find out the exact reason of my RFE?? Please help me!!! Any suggestions are welcome...
Thanks,
