I applied of H1 on Jan'2003. In August The status got changed to RFE , My lawyer replied to the RFE and now the status is as below.

On October 22, 2003, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 150 and 180 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

Why its says 150 to 180 days, does it take so long??

Whats going on?

It was all company related like company structure, company pictures, how many employees, nature of job, tax papers and license.
 
No it does not take another 150-180 days. When you get a RFE, it is already under an officer's review. So you should expect some decision soon...
