My New H1B approved in June without I-94 card. I came to US on June 29th and wrote new employer details on I-94. My visa expires in October. Do i have to go to India to get it stamped?
I think you are ok till one yr after the expiry of ur visa if you dont want to travel during that time. Visa is only required to re-enter in US.
You can also mail it to St.Louis for re-validation
but i heard that if H1B is approved without I-94 card, u need to stamp it outside US. The thing is that when i re entered US in June i wrote my new employer's details. but the inspector gave me I-94 validity for the old visa. Can u suggest?
