H1B revalidation experience - Nogales

I have just got back from my trip after appearing for revalidation at Nogales on July 10. It was an easy process.
For those of you going there, please make sure you take all your papers. And do not waste $300+ by getting the help of local guides to take you there. This forum has enough information to help you better than the local guides.

The whole interview process was very easy. I was asked NO questions at all. The officer looked at my papers that I submitted and then asked me to pay the fees. Some of my friends were asked questions on their resume. They only want to check that the job description matches with that on the I-129 and the DS-156. So make sure that they are close and have answers that match questions related to that.

I took the BANAMEX receipt that morning. It was a 5 minute process. So dont waste time and money by getting it in advance.

The only problem I faced was when coming back into the country. Our wait for I-94 was approximately 2.5 hours. There were approximately 20 of us in that room waiting for the issue of I-94. Some of us were lucky to get it in 2.5 hours. There were others that took them around 3 hours.

So, ,make sure that you do not book a return flight for that day. I would suggest stay back in Nogales for that night and take a peaceful drive the next day.

I will post exact details of the trip later this weekend.

Good luck to everyone who is going.
