H1B revalidation with a valid visa

Hi,


I have a valid H1B stamp till Sep 2006 with my previous employer X.
I am working for company Y.I am planning to get married in April 2006.
I had taken an appointment at Chennai for my H1B revalidation (Note that my visa
is valid till Sep 2006 and I am going to revalidation on Apr 2006)
and H4 for my wife.

Please advise on this.

My questions are
1) Can I go to H1B revalidation before 5 months of a valid stamp?
2) My wife's F1 was rejected before.Would it be a problem for her
getting a H4 visa.Please advise asap.

I do not know about chennai, but consulaltes in canada do not allow one to apply for a new stamp more than 10 days before the expiry of the older stamp.
don't think you need a new stamp just because of change of employer.
just my opinion not a legal counsel.
