hi all,
i am planning to goto matamoros, mx for stamping.

i have had my h1b extended for 3 more yrs since the first one. my question is what documents should i be carrying. i have the original h1b filing documents, and have the approved 797 from that and have the new approved 797 as well.

will these 2 pieces of documents do? please respond, urgent.

T.

I think you need following documents

Your Original valid Passport
1. I-797 Original (2 passport size photos)
2. DS-156
3. DS-157
4. Employment Letter
5. Last 3 months pay stub (take everything what are the pay stubs you have)
6. Last 3 years tax document including W2 (take all the years tax document)
7. Resume
8. Original Degree Certificates
9. Degree Evaluation
10. Apartment lease
11. Proof of address
12. Letter from Client
13. Photos of client building including your desk and take pictures with your colleagues as well.
14. If your employer or attorney can send whole package which they sent to UCIS to get your approval (this will have all most all documents)
15. LCA copy
16. Employer pictures (if possible)
17. Employer web site details (atleast to show them they have a web site and reputed firm.
18. All previous employer documents what you have.

I can think of these are the documents; if I think of more I will let you know, for a safe side we need to take all documents; do NOT what they are going to ask from us.

any answer to this? urgent.

Thanks for the list Raj.

What I am looking for specifically is whether I need to take the second 129 that was filed for an extension to the first H1b term of three years.

Thanks.
