I worked for company A and got laid off by them on 14th Sep'2002. Then i was in bench till 9th Feb'2003 and got hired by
company B. I worked for company B till Aug'2003 and then company A wanted to hire me back again and i went back to
company A. Company A filed a new H1B for me since it said it had cancelled my old H1B, but never told me that earlier(also it
was trying to get me placed by getting interviews). I havent got the new H1B from Company A yet but my H1B/I-94 from
company B is valid till 2006. Now i had sent my passport for H1B revalidation and DID NOT get approved. They had asked me
to go for a personal interview at overseas consulate without providing any reason. Is the case above the reason for not getting
approved? If i type in my Company A's old H1B SRC number at INS site, it doesnt say it has been cancelled.
What are my chances, if i apply again?
