REVALIDATION OF H, L, O AND P VISAS

An application for revalidation (or renewal) of an H, L, O or P visa requires the following documentation/information:

(1) A passport valid for at least six (6) months. A visa may be revalidated if it has a remaining validity of not more than sixty (60) days, or
has not been expired for more than one year.

I came on H1 visa with Comapany A. The expiration date on visa stamped & Original I-94 is Aug 30, 2001. Before this date I got H1 transfer & new H1 is expiring on Jul 2004.

I want to send my passport for visa revalidation, but as mentioned above on INS web site that visa should not have neen expired for more than a year (in my case it is more than a year now). What should I do? If they deny to revalidate, what are the options i have?

Thanx for your help.
