ello there,
Hi,

I came to USA on F1 visa and I am currently working in USA and holds H1B visa. I got my visa stamped from New Delhi Embassy in March
2006 when I was visiting india. My visa is valid till aug 2008. I changed the
employer in Sep 2006 and my visa got transfered to new
employer. I am planning to travel to India in Nov 2006.

Do I need to get my visa stamped again, since i changed my employer? If yes, do i need to go to New Delhi Embassy or I can get it stamped at any
Consulate?

Thanks

Sachin

Nope... Your H1-B Visa stamp on your passport is valid till the expiry date (Though the visa stamp has your ex-emplyer name, it is still valid till expiry). You do not need a new stamp until the visa expiry date or if your status changes to a different visa category.

You will need to hand the New I-797 approval form along with the passport at the POE when you return, so that the Officer can stamp your I-94 with the expiry date on the new I-797 approval notice. Make sure the dates are right on the I-94 and your passport entry stamp before you leave the immigration officer at the POE.

H-1 B Stamping

I came to this country of tourist visa then changed to f-1 and then h1. At the moment stuck with the labor applied in feb 2002. I got to go back to India to visit parents. Please suggest if stamping involves any risk as my H1 b is not stamped. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
