H1B Request for additional information from BCIS

BCIS sent a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case.

Can anyone tell me how long this process takes, I was planning to Visit India in July with the new H1. Now I dont know when I will get the Visa approved.
 
Thanks for the Update. My attorney says it could take between 1 - 2 months. This H1 expires on Aug 21st and I am planning to Visit India next month. So I have to get this approval and get the stamping done ( 2 weeks in chennai currently ) before Aug 21st.
Dont know if I can make it ?
 
Since u filed ur H1 extension before ur prev H1 expires - u are in legal status even after aug 21 - even if ur new H1 does not get approved by that time.
U can stay in US with the newly approved H1 extension even after aug 21 without getting the new H1 stamped in the passport - provided u get a I-94 with the newly extended H1. If u dont get a I-94 the new H1, then u need to go out of the country immidiately to get H1 stamped in the passport.
 
I can stay here in the US, that is okay but if I leave for India in July, I am not sure if I can get the Visa stamped before Aug 21st.
No idea how much time these RFE's take
