H1B renewal and request H4 ( I am getting married soon)

Hello

I am getting married in October with my fiance in Mexico and I will have my interview few days after for my H1B renewal Visa Stamp and for my future wife (we will be married at that time) H4.

I was reading about the PIMS check. Any suggestions for my situation because my I-797 only have my name and not hers because I am still single.

Do I need to send the request to the embasy that I will have my interview and I need a PIMS Check ?

Also, which documents I need to bring for me and my future wife.

Provided you are married by the time you go to the consulate for the visa stamping you will have to fill out DS-156 and DS-157 for you and your wife will have to fill out a DS-156. In those forms it will give you all of the pertinent information regarding what you need. The main thing for you will be marriage certificate to prove you are married to your wife. Her name will not be on the I-797 since it is yours, she is a dependant (or will be) and hence will get an H-4 based off your I-797.
