H1B quota full have to wait for next year??

Hi all,
I'm a newbie in this forum would like your expertise and help on my problem. There's a multinational company willing to take me but their only concern is they have to wait until 4-1-09 to file the petition and it takes 6 months to take effect, which will be 10-1-09. In total it takes 1 year plus to get me on board. Has this year H1B quota already full? Is that any other better solution than wait for next year? Opportunity don't wait. I'm hoping to work in this prestigious company :( Please advice.

There is no other way unless you are qualified for L1 Visa from current employer.

I've L1 Visa but it's issued by CompanyA, for eg. Now I'm working for CompanyB, but CompanyC interested to hire me to work in the US. Don't think CompanyA L1 visa is valid to work for CompanyC :(
