H1B Question

Dear Freinds,

My H1B is up for renewal. I contacted my lawyer and he is charging about $1000 as fees. I was thinking of filling myself.

Questions:
1. Do I need to file labor application first OR Can I use the earlier LCA OR I do not need at all?

2. What is the fees? I heard it is changed.

3. Do I need to submit the latest payslips?

4. What company related documents I need to attach.

Sorry for asking H1B question in this portral, I tried in H1B section no reply yet. Hope you guys don't mind.

I wonder how you file your own H1B renewal ; It has to be done either by your employer or attroney

You can't sign your own I-129 application.

following document needed :

1. LCA is must document to attach to H1B application (I-129)-even for renewal
2. Current Pay stubs
3. Other Education related documents
4. Previously approved H1B Copies
5. Company Letter stating your continuous employment with them and salary details and title which is mentioned exactly on LCA
6. Fee (i guess $130.00)
7. Copy of Passport with I-94 (back & front)
8. Resume (optional)
