I am on F1 status and my company applied for a H1 for me with receipt date of April 5th 2002 (Normal processing). I talked to an officer at NSC and she told me my petition is with an officer as of June 1st week. Also with the NSC current processing times(06/03/02), they are processing cases after my receipt date. How long it will take an officer to approve my H1? My F1 practical training expires by mid July. Will I get my H1 approval before then? Please let me know. I am very worried.
