I am trying to go from being on OPT to H1B. My questions are:
1. How long is it taking for the whole process including LAC and I-129 form approval to run through (I live in FL)?
2. Once I apply using the regular/non-premium channel, is there a time limit upto which I can change to premium track or can I do it anytime while the case is pending?
3. Does anyone have any insights into how the processing time for H1B might change over the next couple of months?
..I am kind of freaked out because I had happily assumed that it will take max 1-month for me to get H1B. I just realized that it may take far longer. This is just to get more information before I make a decision on what to do.
