I am just in the process of transfering my H1 to a new Employer who will initiate my green Card once my H1 gets transfered. Meanwhile my previous employer is asking for my previous H1 approval notices (Petitions) to be returned to them before they issue me my experience and releaving letter.
My question is: should I return my previous H1 Approval notices (i-797) to my previous employer or these are required to be retained for the Green card filing purpose in future with my new employer?
Please help?
