H1b Papers crumpled

I received my H1B approval papers and they were crumpled and had creases all over due to UPS. Now I got a letter from my company stating that this was not my fault and it was due to UPS. The only issue is the original I-797 has a lot of folds and creases and the bar code at the bottom is slightly faded. Most of the bars are fine, only two are slightly faded.

The I-94 that has my name is slightly faded too, just my last name part but can be read. Do you think this will causes issues and cant they delay/reject based on this? I am guessing the letter should help. Has anyone had any issue?

Hi Srini,

That is perfectly fine, keep cool. These things happen all the time. At least your paper was only crumpled at best. My H1 paper could not be read at all with the light printing on the paper (My case must have been at the end of the ink cartridge of their printer. in fact the VO laughed and joked in my favor)

I had to inform them I was helpless in this matter and then the VO admitted that they had to modernize their systems. Whatevr that may be I need a visa stamp. end of story

So, dont worry it is not going to create any hassle. Just let the VO know that was way the document was received

thanks subramya I really appreciate it. I know it was kind of a silly question :) but this hold US immigration process has made me paranoid about everything since you hear about all kinds of denials etc.

Good to know that someone else has gone through similar issues.
