Hi,
Consider this scenario-
A person is working with a consultancy firm and the project gets over with one client. The consultancy will start looking for another project for the person. Now the consultancy does not pay the person on bench period. How long does the person have to find a new project before his H1B becomes out of status?
Now in this case the person is not being laid off. Its only that his payroll will not run till he gets a new project. Does H1B become out of status in this case?
Please let me know as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance!!
