1. Nov 2001 -> I entered in US with valid H1B from 10/10/2001 to 08/01/2004
2. Non – Dec 2001 -> Project didn’t get finalized because of slow market, haven’t got pay stub
3. Jan 2002-Mar 2004 -> I got married in US and had 2 kids (During this period continue trying interviews but with health limitation and slow market, project didn’t materialized). Didn’t convert my status to H4 after marriage. Haven’t received pay stub during this period also.
4. July 2004 -> Got the project and started to get pay stub
5. July 2004 -> Lawyer submitted H1B renewal with premium processing
6. Aug 2004 -> Original H1B expired
7. Dec 2004 -> Company Lawyer submitted papers on INS RFE
8. Dec 2004– Jul 2005 -> Lawyer who filed H1B not working with company anymore and not responding to any phone call/emails
9. July 2005 -> Company assigned new lawyer and got information from INS that H1B renewal request was rejected on Dec 2004 and INS sent papers to old company address which was never received by anyone.
New lawyer is working on this case and will have some information soon. But I am getting really worried about my status and not sure what will happen, what are the options I have? Is it possible to get new H1B?
