H1b moonlighting as a hospitalist

Here is my question.

I am a physician working as a hospitalist.
J1 waiver approved April 2008 (Conrad 30), am now working as a hospitalist on H1B in Indiana and hired by a big hospitalist company.

I see a lot of ads about locums. Basically there is another small company which finds a position for you and you work for 3-4 days every other week in a hospital. You are in no way hired by that company but that company will pay you as they derive the compensation from the hospital and after taking out their commission give the rest to you.

That locums company has agreed to route my wages through my original employer and our lawyer will make some kind of ammendment in our H1b contract.

Has anyone done this before?? Is it ok to proceed with??

Things to consider because you're on J1 waiver...

1) Make sure you document hours you spent in J1 waiver/underserved area and that you spend at least 40 hrs per week as full time work there.

2) To route wages just to by pass ...I don't know... check with immigration lawyer if there should be an agreement between companies...
