I graduated in June 2006 with a US Master's Degree and my company applied for a H1B for me (on Apr. 1, like everyone else), but they screwed up and forgot to apply for me under the exempt 20,000 quota. Now I got rejected in the lottery and don't have any way to work beyond my OPT end date of July 2nd.
Is there any way I can correct this mistake and get a H1B for this year? or am I completely screwed for the 2007 H1B visa...
