How long you can hold the H1B to be able to find another job/sponsor?

How much can help a leter from the previos sponsor giving you a leave no pay?

How long can be the maximum leave no pay?

My employee want to help so, what a letter like that looks like (do you have any samples)?

If you don't find a job and you want to open a business so makes any difference if you start it with an H1B or H4?

Here is my two cents

I am in a similar situation, and there will be a gap of a few days between transfer and last pay date of my current employer. I talked to a lawyer and was told it should be fine. However I do not want to take the chance. My HR person told me the employer has 30 days to cancel the H-1.

You could ask if your employer can pay your earned vacation days as a regular paycheck.
