my employer told me they are not going to renew my H1b visa. it's very hard to find another job in my field. and I'm single, so I can change to B2 or F1.
I'm ok with only staying here six months (if B2 can be approved), but I've heard B2 is very hard to be approved for immigration intention? but to maintain a F1 status, I've to pay $6000/yr tuition in local community college. (some ppl told me since I've a master degree, I can't apply for community college)
I'm really confused about which status I should change into. I'd prefer a B2 since I don't need to tuition. but if my COS to B2 is denied, can I still file COS to F1 by then?
