H1B is maxing out for me

Hi,

I came to US on a H1 B Visa and converted to F1 after 9 months struggle.Then i completed my masters and re-applied for H1 in 2004 June and worked for company A.I was with them until 2006 Jan and converted to company B(MNC company).Now i currently hold thier H1 which is valid until 2008 Dec.My GC was put on hold beacause of some redopleyments and it will start in 2008(not sure when).My question is how many years of H1 is still left for me .As i converted from H1 to F1 will i have a fresh quota of 6 years from the conversion or will i have 6 years of H1 that include 9months+1.5 year+ 3 years.

Please help
 
The 6 years will be calculated based on the time spend on H-1 or L category visa. So in the worst case you have used 9 months before starting the H-1 in year 2004.
