H1B interview in Dubai

Hi:

I've got my H1B approval but as I check the website of US consulate in
Dubai the very first day is September 15th and considering that the
work will start 1st Oct what would you recommend?

by the way would the Us consulate in Dubai contact me once they
recieve the documents from USCIS or should I get an appointment for
the interview online?

dear friend,

Call or fax the Consulate stating your case that you need to start work Oct 1, giving your telephone number you are available at all times( they called me and scheduled an earlier date-- this was 6 years ago, I do not know now)

Alternatively , wait for Sep 15, but b4 that sell your stuff and make all preps to leave b cos they usually stamp and hand out same day( afternoon)

So if you are pretty much wrapped up with your furniture , car etc, not to mention job( then Oct 1 is a piece of cake)
