H1B in Toronto on expiring passport?

Hello,

I recently got my H1B extension approval valid through 03/2008 and am planning to go to Toronto to get the visa stamp.

However my passport expires 1/2008 - will that be a problem? Unfortunately I do not have sufficient time before my appointment in Toronto to get my Indian passport renewed.

Any advice please?
