Now that i am still in US and have been asked to Restamp at Chennai Consulate or file a 1-824 for stamping at a differnet Consulate after the H1B transfer has been approved but Extension of stay was denied due to the late processing , Is it better to apply the I-824 at a Consulate in Canada than in Chennai?
When i go for the interview at the US consulate Should i be just provide the I-797 which says that its approved or should i also provide I-797B which has another 2 pages that says approved but extension to stay has been denied.
Has anyone gone through this similar process of applying 1-824 ? What should i be looking for.
