Hi,

I am new here. I would like to share my concerns and hope to get an answer. i am in a desperate situation.

I received my H1b visa last October but I am still here in the Philippines. I am a Licensed PT in NC but my agent, the very same agent who ask me to take the stateboard for NC, got me an employer in SC so we had to endorse our license. As a requirement, in order for our license to be endorsed, we need to get 55 in our TSE.

I am going to take the TSE on January 14, but the problem is my NC license will expire on January 31, 2006 and we can not renew our License without a Social Security Number. I had explained the situation to our agent, I even requested if I could take the TSE in the US and at the same time get my SSN but they won't allow us to go to the states.

They had even threatened to pull out my job offer if I won't take the TSE and they couldn't give us an answer if what will our next move be if we don't get 55 in the TSE.

This agent is the only link to our employer and they are based internationally.

I don't want my License to expire without having the chance to renew it. I worked very hard to get that license.

I respect my agent but they won't give me a chance to renew my License. They won't even give me clearance to process my Pre Departure Seminar at our Overseas Employment Office here in the Philippines.

I would like to know if it is okey if I go to US without my agent knowing it, then just tell them if I am already there? I am afraid that the immigration at the port of entry might know that I left for US without the approval of my agent. I do not want to act hastily as I do not want to ruin my chances of going there. But I need to renew my License also. Please help! Thank you in advance.
