Hi,
I'm in my 8th year of my H1-B, with my extensions, as my GC was filed before the 6th year.
At this time, my consulting firm filed my GC, they then mentioned that they'd do a labor substitution. Also, that they'd file I-140 immediately and further processes down the line.
While this all sounds sweet, as such my consulting firm is playing tricks for $1's and $2's while I get good consulting offers. Its very stressful.
What are my options ?
If I've to switch to another company, assuming that the company is OK to file a new GC for me, is it legally possible ?
How much of time I'd need to have or they should need for this to work out, while assuming that they're ok?
Please advice. Thanks.
