A couple of years ago i transfered my H1B to my current Employer. When this H1B was filed the lawyer stated everything(about job) wrong in the H1B Pertition . I am a software Engineer and she used a Hardware Engineer's Profile to file my H1.Proabbly she just copied everything from one of the Previously filed H1B petitions.
Now, i am Planning to Go for H1B stamping. Its hard to Project myself as a Hardware Engineer as all my Previous Experience letters and Previous H1Bs are based on Software Background.
I am sure the consulate guys will ask about my job. If i tell about what i really work on, do they have any chance to find out that the H1B was filed for a different Profile?
