Dear Mr. Khanna,
I spent just over 2 months abroad during my H1B, which is now expiring its stated 6 year term. Can I extend this for the time spent abroad without incurring the normal H1B fees and the $1000 INS fees etc since it is only revalidation of existing time?
I would like to do this if possible since I might be able to otbain an EAD in the next 2 months. The other alternative ofcourse is to file for a 7th year extension based on my labor approval. However, I would like to avoid this if possible. Your advice is much appreciated.
