yes, sometimes USCIS says .... ECFMG is not sufficient for credential evaluation. (go figure why....). my attorney got my credential evaluation done th' an agency in washington DC.
LCA online will take 1 minute after filling the form. But, before you fill the online form, you will need *prevailing wage info.*
1) *prevailing wage info* from your SWA (state workforce agency) will take about 3-4 weeks depending on their workload. u can find it out by calling them .. usually they have an answering machine that tells.
2) if your salary is same as the current prevailing wage at DOL website, then you can just quote it while filling the LCA form and it will be easy.

thanks j1 victim,actually my employers lawyer filed it but not too sure about his immigration knowledge,now he says no need to reply to rfe but to go ahead and file for green card!!!go figure!!!
the prevailing wage, I got in about 4 hrs it was faxed, but salary is appox. 20 thousand higher.what are my options if employer says he can't increase it?
right now based on lawyers answer to rfe i am trying to do it on my own.

prevailing wage is higher ....

1. ask your employer if he is ready to give you the current salary from SWA.
2. if not, then you can also quote any other survey that is authentic and has a lower salary
3. there are other options.
