Hi,

My H1B is expiring on Sept 10, 2006. I started my GC-PERM process on Oct20, 2005 and got my labor and I140 approved by end of January 2006. Am I eligible for H1B extension and if so how many years (7th year or one-time 3 year extension).

Thanks for the information.

Bye

They applied for 3 years extn (I-140 approved)

They applied for 3 years extn (I-140 approved)

Will let you know once I hear the approval notice, but I widely read we can apply for 3 year and confirmed with Attorney

Good luck!

Since you said, “I widely read we can apply for 3 year and confirmed with Attorney”. Here is the question for you. If one has an approved I-140 but he is not subject to per country visa limit, is he eligible for the post 6 years H-1B extension in 3 years increment and why?
