H1B extension - what documents needed?

hi,

i am currently working on an H1B visa that is expiring in september 2011. i wonder what forms do i need to file to apply for an extension if i continue to work for the same employer, and if i choose to work for a different employer?

Your current employer should take care of paperwork for renewing your H1b if he wants you to continue working with him. If you are seeking a new job, your new employer should be the one taking care of paperwork for H1 transfer. Either case, you are not the one filing paperwork - the employer is.
