H1b Extension Timeout!!

Hi All, My H1b is expiring July 30th-2003. I have applied for an extension on 7/19/03.
Scenarios:
1. If I don't get the ACK card before July 30th what should I do?
2. If I happen to get it before 7/30 will I be out of Status ? since I have just applied and my petetion hasn't been decided yet?



BTW my labor petetion is approved.

Kindly send me some advice/note

As u have applied for extension before ur current visa expires - u will be in status after july 30 also.

If u get a new I-94 with the H1 approval - no problem.
But, if u dont get a I-94 with the new H1 approval - u have to go out of US, get visa stamped and then enter US.
