H1B Extension in I485 Status

My H1B is expiring end of this month, I have used my AP in November2004.
My Attorney says I can extend my H1B as I am working for the same company.

Guys, can you please let me know if anyone in the same scenario. Is it ok to extend my H1B after AP is used.

I was in the similar situation. I just got my H1 renewal done after using AP to enter US.
My attorney said, after H1 approval my AP is invalid. So I will have to get H1 stamped whenever I leave US and re-enter.
