H1B extension and new H4

Hi,

I am currently in the US on H1B and first three years of my H1B expire in november this year. I am planning to get married in November and also get my H1 extended.
Does anyone know if I can get appointment for both visas..that is...my H1 extension and new H4 for wife..both together? or I need to take separate appointments for each? I will be going to Mumbai consulate.

Any response will be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

for extension ur employer will have to file in USA. after USCIS approves the ext (time taken 3-6 mths) you will take that approval notice to get a new stamp in ur passport, at that time you can have a joint appt with ur wife for H4
